The Benue state University Post Utme form is now available on the school portal, hence all interested applicants can now purchase the form online.

This is to announce to all interested candidates who must have taken the unified tertiary matriculation examination (Utme) and applied for the Benue state University, makurdi, for the 2020/2021 academic session and scored a minimum of 180 and above in the concluded Utme are eligible to register and participate in the Benue state University Post Utme Exercise.

Amount Payable, Procedure for Payment and Registration for BSU Post Utme

All candidates interested in the Benue state University Post Utme (Bsu Post Utme) are required to pay a non-refundable fee of two thousand naira(N2,000.00) only as the Benue state University Post Utme fee and register for the admission screening exercise.

How To Apply For BSU Post Utme

  1. Logon to the BSU website and press the Admissions menu.
  2. Then Under Application, right click on Post UTME/DE link and input your Registration number to verify profile details.
  3. Once the details must have been verified, applicants are to click on the “proceed” link to generate and print out the payment slip for reference purposes.

Payment Options

All the BSU Candidates are to make use any of the four (4) payment options below to ensure a swift and smooth payment.

Cash payments at Bank;

Go with the payment reference number and visit any of the following bank branches Nationwide to make payments :

Citibank Nigeria Limited, Heritage Banking Company Limited, ECO Bank Plc, Guaranty Trust Bank Plc, Sterling Bank Plc, Access Bank Plc, Fidelity Bank Plc, First City Monument Bank Limited, Diamond Bank Plc, First Bank of Nigeria Plc, United Bank for Africa Plc, Standard Chartered, Wema Bank Plc, Unity Bank Plc, Union Bank of Nigeria Plc, Polaris Bank Plc, Keystone Bank Limited, Stanbic IBTC Bank Plc, Providus Bank Limited, Zenith Bank Plc.

After your arrival at the bank, you are expected to present the payment reference number with the cash to the bank cashier to be able to use "college pay" app so as to process the transaction then generate payment receipt.

Paying Online Using Mastercard, VISA Card And Verve Card

  • For candidates to navigate to the interswitch payment page they are required to click on the "pay online" button on the payment reference number slip that was generated after the verification.
  • Select card type from the drop-down menu
  • To make Payments enter the information requested
  • After the completion of Successfully payment, Candidates would be issued a receipt and expected to go on with the application.

Payment at ATM terminals 

  • When using the ATM terminal, Candidates should do the following
  • Select quickteller from the ATM menu
  • Click pay bills
  • When prompted to enter customer ID, candidates are to Fill in the payment reference number generated and printed out.
  • When requested to enter the payment code, candidates should fill in 04255101.
  • Now enter your gsm/mobile number and complete the transaction
  • Return to the portal after that, to relogin and print out the payment receipt.

For payment using Quickteller

All applicants should visit the quickteller section on the payment reference page generated after verification and click the link " Pay On" then do the following;
Enter the payment reference Number
Input card Details and click On Pay
Then print the receipt

  • Any Candidates who have not used Quickteller to make any online payment before, he/she would need to sign up first before handling the above transactions.
  • All Candidates who applied for courses outside college of health sciences might wish to directly go through the website : and make payments as above
  • While those candidates who applied for courses in the college of health sciences can also visit to pay.

Benue State University Post Utme Registration Steps

Candidates are expected to revisit the university website after payment and under admission they should select "post Utme/De" under application to do the following.

  1. Input your UTME registration number and click the "verify" button to verify your details
  2. Select the "proceed" link to login to your account so as to register and upload relevant credentials online for the screening exercise.
  3. After that, click on "uplaod documents" link to upload the following documents which includes:
  5. Certificates or statement of results(not online slips)
  6. Marriage certificate/affidavits
  7. Certificate of state origin
  8. Then click on "Acknowledge Slip" link to print out two (2) copies.
  9. Only candidates whose Ordinary level results are in the jamb portal will be given admission.
Note : 
  • Candidates who applied for law but scored between 180 and 199 may be considered for admission into any other courses in the faculty of arts, social sciences, education or management sciences.
  • Candidates who might have applied for Medicine and Surgery in the College of Health Sciences and scored between 180 and 199 may likely be considered for any of these courses; Anatomy, Physiology, Nursing Science or any course in the Science faculty.
