This is to bring to the notice of all candidates seeking admission into lautech that a post Utme computer based test (CBT) screening exercise and also oral interview for Direct entry candidates for admission into the university's various programmes/courses will be conducted on a date to be communicated soon.

Lautech Post Utme Eligibility

  1. Candidates who chose lautech as their first choice and also candidates willing to change to Lautech as their institution of first choice in the 2020/2021 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
  2. Candidates must have scored a minimum of 170 and above in the just concluded Unified tertiary matriculation examination (UTME).
  3. UTME Candidates must possess a minimum of at least five (5) credit passes in their five (5) relevant subjects in not more than two sittings in SSCE/NECO/NABTEB
  4. Direct entry Candidates must also possess a minimum of upper credit and jupeb/Advanced level with five (5) credit passes in SSCE/NECO/NABTEB in the relevant subjects.
  5. Applicants who are using awaiting results of NABTEB, NECO, WASC can also apply. But they should ensure they upload the results on the p.utme portal of the university and also the jamb caps portal two weeks after the results has been released.

For Direct Entry Candidates

  1. D.E applicants including those ones in lautech jupeb programme or other Institution's jupeb programmes must have purchased the direct entry form from jamb so as to be considered for admission and also partake in the oral screening interview in which the date would be communicated soon.
  2. D.E candidates are to ensure they forward their academic transcript to the Registrar, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, this should not exceed Friday, October 16, 2020.
Note : All Candidates should ensure they go through the university brochure as provided in the university website carefully so as to guide them in the completion of their application forms.

Important Information on Lautech Post Utme

All candidates should note that before they could be considered for admission, individual candidates must have uploaded their ordinary level results on CAPS and once admission is been offered, the applicants must either accept or reject the offer on CAPS before JAMB’s closure of CAPS for the year in order to be listed on JAMB National Matriculation list for the year. 

Lautech Post Utme Method Of Application

  • Logon to the admission website of the University to make payments of the online registration for the screening exercise which is two thousand naira only (N2,000.00)
  • Payment can be made using Inter-Switch Enabled Debit Card (ATM) as well as getting themselves familiar with the available programmes in the University and the requirements for O’Level, A’Level and UTME subjects for each of the programmes so indicated.
  • All applicants must upload a digital copy of a white background passport photograph which must be in JPEG format and not more than 20kb.
  • After uploading of the passport candidates should carefully complete and submit the online application forms.

Lautech Post Utme Registration Date And Deadline

The lautech Post utme application form will be made available online for completion and submission from Friday, August 21 to Friday, September 25, 2020. 

Lautech Post Utme Warning And Restrictions

  • Applicants with blurred picture on the acknowledgement page will not be allowed into the screening center as the photograph will be used as a means of identification.
  • Candidates should present the coloured print out acknowledge page at the screening venue before he/she can be accepted to participate in the exercise. (Satisfaction of this requirement is mandatory)
  • Any error or inconsistency in candidates names on O'level and UTME results would be rejected by the University and this may lead to the candidate's disqualification. So therefore candidates should make sure their names on the O'level and utme results must be the same.
  • Use of cell phones and any unauthorized device is prohibited during the screening exercise.
  • Candidates who fails to show up to present himself/herself for the CBT centre as scheduled will forfeit being considered for admission automatically.
  • If discovered, The law enforcement agency would prosecute any candidates who provides false information to secure admission into any programme of the University.(admission would be withdrawn for such candidate)
  • The University urges candidates to beware of scammers as they won't be liable for any transaction with any unauthorized person.
  • Any candidates who uploaded the O'level results after the prescribed timeline may be rejected.
