Lagos State University Finally Announced its' Resumption Schedule and Guidelines

The Lagos State University, LASU, has set a date for the resumption of their entire students admist the the pandemic.




It stated the first year student of the university are to resume back to school as from January 11, 2021.

However the resumption schedule of Lagos State University resumption released on Friday said until then, their classes would be online.

The Lagos State University final year students, terminal classes (400, 500 and 600 levels) are to resume the 14th of September, 2020 being on Monday and they would be having lectures from 9a.m to 3p.m on weekdays alone.

Master and PhD students of the institution are also urged to resume classes on Monday, 14th September 2020, lectures are only on weekends.

200 - 500 Level students are to resume back to school as from the 9th of November, 2020.

While part-time, sandwich and diploma students are required to resume November 13, 2020 for their weekend classes (only at the institution's epe campus).

All students and the members of staff and non-staff are to have a facemask on and ensure they wear their lasu identity cards (Compulsory) because this would serve as a gate pass into the university premises.

Each candidate must report with their hand sanitizers.

Members of staff are to resume with the students on Monday while the non-academic workers of the university from CONUAS level 12 and above (except those on an essential duty are expected back on campus).

All lectures lecturing in the University must ensure they enforce face mask wearing on students mad good ventilation in their classrooms.

Commercial as well as  recreational  activities will also be limited on campus
